About:
Theo grew up in a small California town. His family scraped by, and he learned early on that if he wanted something, he’d have to fight for it. Being smaller and scrawnier than most kids, he was teased a lot, and those years left him with a chip on his shoulder. After high school, he started working out. By the time he got into WUS, he wasn’t the same scrawny kid anymore, but the insecurities never really went away. Now at WUS, Theo’s life looks perfect from the outside. He’s popular, and a player on the Wyverns hockey team. But beneath the surface, he’s still searching for acceptance. He’s molded himself into someone he thinks people will like, hiding his messier sides behind confidence.

"He always hated pictures. Said he didn’t want anyone to remember him looking ‘like that.’ Can you believe that? He was seven!"

About:
Johnnie grew up as the youngest of four in a chaotic, loving family in Chicago. While his siblings followed more traditional paths, Johnnie enjoyed standing out. From a young age, he loved art. His rebellious nature got him into trouble, but he had a way of getting his way out of it.Now at WUS, Johnnie is pursuing tattoo design and his Performing Arts major. He’s the life of the party, but there’s more to him than just a confident smirk. Behind the jokes and teasing, Johnnie has a deeply empathetic side, particularly when it comes to Felix. Whether he’s helping his roommate dye his hair or dragging him out for a midnight skate session, Johnnie is the kind of friend (or more) that Felix never knew he needed.

"I covered myself and the dining room wall in paint. Yeah, pretty sure my mom still has nightmares about it."

About:
Sean grew up in the outskirts of Portland, Oregon. He was the youngest of four in a dysfunctional household to alcoholic parents. He quickly learned to keep his head down. Music became his lifeline - first as a distraction, then as a calling. He began playing bass as a kid. By the time he hit his teens, Sean was skipping class to play in dive bars and skating with the wrong crowd. He craved adrenaline. He left home as soon as he could. Now 23, Sean juggles his music major with gigs and adventures with Bad Anthems. Though he projects a cool, nonchalant demeanor, he pours everything into his music. Sean thrives in the raw, imperfect beauty of his music and the bond with his bandmates (he’ll never admit how much they mean to him). For him, he wants to prove he isn’t just another face in the crowd.

"Yeah, that’s me figuring out how to drown out the noise with a bass. Funny how something so loud could be the only thing that felt quiet back then."
- Sean Mercer

About:
Ralph grew up between two wildly different parenting styles. His mom was strict, demanding academic excellence, while his dad was laid-back and oblivious. It made him hyper-critical, competitive, and emotionally stunted. He was the type of kid to correct teachers in class and feel no shame about it.Now at WUS, Ralph fully expected to be the top student. He worked hard. He studied. He perfected everything. And then his rival happened. No matter what he did, they kept outranking him, and it’s been driving him up the wall ever since. And now, Rebecca's relentlessly flirting with Ralph and can't seem to take a hint.

"Yes, I would read in my free-time as a kid. I still do. No, it's not ‘just a phase.’ No, I do not want to ‘go touch grass.’ Is this interrogation over?"

About:
Jaxon grew up in Calpus. His dad often clashed with Jaxon’s rebellious side, while his mom tried to bridge the gap with varying levels of success. Even as a kid, Jaxon was drawn to all things dark and creepy. Middle school was rough, and he turned to gaming, playing guitar, and music (hence where his love for early 2000s emo music came from). Now at 25, Jaxon attends WUS, where he’s majoring in Forensics. Even with his outward confidence, he’s still figuring out how to deal with his inner anxieties and walls. Jaxon is happy living life on his terms (even if it means failing a group project here and there). He might act like he doesn’t care about much, but the people who get past his defenses mean everything to him.

"That's him. He was probably around 13 when this was taken. Even his Nintendo DS matched his outfit. I kept telling him it was okay to wear a little color, but he just said, 'Black is a color, Mom.'"

After graduation, he packed up, left home, and moved to WUS to pursue a computer science degree.

"Oh, yeah, that was me at, what, 13? Got an Xbox for Christmas, spent half my life on Skyrim, offering my daily respects to my lord and savior, Todd Howard."

Elliot “El” Voss grew up in Calpus, Wa - an only child. His dad owns a bakery in Calpus, but Elliot spent most of his childhood with his favorite outlets - video games and anime binges. His mom divorced his dad and left when he was eight, which shaped Elliot’s tendency to mask deeper feelings with humor and laid-back attitudes. Elliot did well in school, but began falling behind in academics after his mom left and he started getting bullied for his "problems" and interests. He embraced self-deprecation and leaned fully into the "weird fox kid" persona.Elliot is still figuring himself out. Between skipping classes to smoke and watch anime, working part-time at StarDough Cafe, and gaming until the early hours, Elliot is definitely behind on his studies but convinces himself he’ll pull through “eventually.” He also probably spends too much time on Reddit.

"I found this old photo of Elliot, probably around eight, sitting in the living room with a controller in his hands. His little white ears twitching every time he got excited about beating a level. I thought it might be nice to include. Just a reminder that even back then, he had that same spark for what he loved. He hasn’t changed much, has he?"

About:
Felix grew up in a small suburban town in Washington, the unwanted result of an affair his mother regretted daily. Her resentment of Felix was obvious, but guilt would occasionally lead to moments of suffocating affection. As a weremutt, Felix was even more isolated, bullied by kids who saw him as a freak. Now at WUS, Felix is still figuring out who he is and where he belongs. His snarky attitude and grungy style keep most people at a distance, which suits him just fine (or so he tells himself.) Between studying Shapeshifter Dynamics, making NSFW indie games with his Discord group, and letting Johnnie drag him into mischief, he’s starting to find cracks in his armor. Whether he likes it or not, the walls are coming down.

"Yeah, that’s me."

About:
Ty grew up in the outskirts of a small American town. His home life was rough, arguments behind closed doors and a father who wasn’t afraid to let his fists do the talking. School wasn’t much better, as Ty always felt like he didn’t fit in. His sharp wit and temper led to a reputation as trouble. At 17, he dropped out of high school after he'd had enough, packing up his belongings and leaving everything behind. Moving to Calpus at 18, he found his escape in music and tattooing, often channeling his emotions into the drums. Now, Ty balances life between the stage and the tattoo shop. While he’s got a growing fanbase thanks to Bad Anthems, his small studio apartment off-campus feels more like home. He still wrestles with his vampire instincts and struggles with the fear of becoming a monster he tries to avoid. Yet, when he’s on stage, the battles in his mind ease.
